Lidl Leitao Batatas Fritas (Roast Pork Flavored Chips)
Trying local flavors of snacks like potato chips (crisps for my English friends), is one of our favorite activities to do when traveling abroad. Have you done it?!
Leitão- A Classic Portuguese Chip Flavor
One very Portuguese flavor of chips you will find when living in Portugal or while on holiday in Portugal is Leitão.

What is Leitão?
Leitão is tender, roast suckling pig marinated in a molho (sauce) with garlic, herbs, and a peppery finish.

Lidl Leitão Chips Review
I’m a big fan of the leitão chips. I think they are a fun, very Portuguese flavor of crisps to try. I love that they have chosen wavy, ridge chips for this flavor.

While roasted pork isn’t a chip flavor I want every single time, when you’re in the mood for something a bit different they can be just what the doctor ordered. I love the peppery bite and I’m never mad I bought them.
