Flete Pao de Queijo
Pão de queijo is a classic Brazilian snack that can be found all over Portugal in cafes and the fresh baked goods area of grocery stores like Aldi and Lidl.
Many times we have grabbed a bag of 10 (often a little discount when you buy 10 at a time) and enjoyed them as a convenient little snack, but we never tried making them ourselves or trying a ready-to-bake version like these.

Baked Pao de Queijo

Inside Pao de Queijo
The inside texture of pão de quiejo is really interesting because it’s kind of spongy, kind of cheesy, and kind of doughy.
Many versions are made with tapioca, but these were actually made with cassava starch.

Serving Suggestion
We enjoyed the Flete pao de queijo aside baked sweet potatoes and bbq pork ribs.

Our Review — Worth Buying?
Would we rebuy Flete Pao de Queijo again? Probably not.
We actually found that we prefer the taste of the ones baked in store over these ones that you can bake fresh. This was surprising to me as I assumed I would enjoy these more.
