Aldi Cinnamon Churros Cereal Review

We mainly buy “healthy” cereal these days. I’m talking straight up bran flakes. They’re plain and crunchy and you kind of develop a taste for them.

But every now and then we buy a fun cereal like this cinnamon churros cereal from Aldi.

Aldi Churros Cereal Review Crunchy Sweet Cereal with Cinnamon Golden Bridge Cereals

Most “fun” cereals in Portugal aren’t actually that tasty in our opinion. Coming from the US where many have grown up eating really sweet, sugary cereals buying a box abroad usually is disappointing.

Not the case with Aldi Churros Cereal!

This purchase became dangerous because we ended up rebuying this cereal numerous times after our first box!

If you are a lover of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and find yourself in Aldi in Europe, give this churro cereal a try!

You’ll get all that cinnamon-sugar flavor you love combined with a whole lot of crunch!

I mean, just take a look at this close up!

Close up of Aldi Churros Cereal Review Goldenbridge Cereals

The individual cereal pieces are shaped like little churros (churritos!) and I find them a little bit large, you definitely need to use the big spoon for this bowl of cereal.

The advantage is, they don’t sog out the way Cinnamon Toast Crunch can. Iykyk.

So these stay crunchy from start to finish and while you shovel them in, they will potentially scratch up the roof of your mouth in that certain way that only the best cereals can do.

If you don’t like that I suppose you can just let them get soggy before eating them. That may take a while . . .

. . . And it would be weird.

Way weirder than bran flakes being your default cereal, but to each his own. :p

TLDR; If you see Churros cereal at Aldi, grab a box and let us know what you think.

Rating: 4/4 — love it!!

Are Aldi Cereals Good?

Some of Aldi’s cereals are just okay, but this special churro cereal we think is great!

Is Aldi Churro Cereal a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Dupe?

If you’re looking for a grocery store brand dupe for Cinnamon Toast Crunch, I don’t think the churro cereal is exactly that, mostly because of the shape, but at the same time I think you’ll be perfectly pleased with it because it gives you the same cinnamon-sugar taste with an even better crunch! =)
