Aldi La Finesse Tater Tots Review — Worth Buying?

Aldi La Finesse Tater Tots

We saw these “Croquetes de Batata Crocantes” from La Finesse brand at Aldi in Portugal and they looked like elongated tater tots so we decided to lean into a Napoleon Dynamite moment and grab a bag.

We’ve also had great success with other La Finesse potato sides, so why not!?

Serving Suggestion:

Embrace your inner toddler and line up your Aldi tater tots beside chicken schnitzel (aka adult nuggets) and some apple slices. A side salad adds more color!

Our Review — Worth Buying?

The potato croquettes (tater tots) get a nice crunchy exterior while maintaining a soft potato inside even when cooked in the oven. We usually use a combination of traditional top and bottom oven heat with some time on convention to get extra crisping.
