We really enjoy mochi ice cream and occasionally order it at asian restaurants.

It always feels a little bit expensive, but at the same time is such a fun and refreshing treat it’s especially great after a spicy dish.

Buying a package of 6 mochi at Aldi grocery store is cheaper than buying 1 out at a restaurant, so why not?!

Chewy mochi with creamy and refreshing ice cream are always a win in my book.

I loved the salted caramel flavor of mochi ice cream at Aldi Portugal! It was caramel-y, and it was salty. It was enjoyable to interpret those flavors through the last bite.

Fun Fact: This novelty freezer treat has built in self control as one is just the right size and removes the danger of scooping ice cream into a giant cereal bowl. 😂
