Calling all chocolate hazelnut lovers — Mucci has mini ice creams for you!
We tried them out for you, just to make sure. ;]
These mini ice creams are chocolate ice cream with a chocolatey coating that has hazelnuts and apparently crunchy cookie pieces inside.

INGREDIENTS: Reconstituted skimmed milk, special coating with vegetable fat, milk and hazelnut 30% [sugar, vegetable fats (coconut and shea), powdered milk, hazelnut paste 10%, defatted cocoa powder”, emulsifier (monoglycerides and diglycerides of fatty acids?, lecithins and polyglycerol polyricinoleate) and flavor], sugar, coconut fat, glucose and fructose syrup, biscuit grain and toasted hazelnuts 3.5% [wheat flour, hazelnuts 30%, sugar, emulsifier (lecithins (contains soy)), vanilla flavor and coloring (ammonium sulfite caramel)], dairy solids (lactose and milk proteins), cocoa powder 2.5%, emulsifier (monoglycerides and diglycerides of fatty acids), stabilizers (guar gum, grain gum and carrageenans) and salt.

Our Review — Worth Buying?
We think so!
Okay I’ll be perfectly honest that I don’t totally love the ingredient list, (something about the translation “special covering with vegetable fat” is particularly off-putting.
Still, going by taste alone, these are one of my favorite ice cream treats-on-a-stick from any of the grocery stores in Portugal.
The ice cream is very creamy, the chocolate-hazelnut taste is nailed and the crunchy bits in the [fill in the blanks] coating make it super yummy.
Big fan.
Would we rebuy Aldi Mucci Chocolate Hazelnut Ice Cream sticks again? Yes! These are super delicious.
