Mucci Sour Bites
Aldi Mucci Sour Bites are a frozen dessert (not ice cream) that are apparently going viral right now.

Aldi Sour Bites Flavors
The Aldi Sour Bites come in a package of twelve bites with 6 strawberry and 6 apple flavored treats in a neat little pull out try which reminds me of these Aldi Mochi Ice Creams.

Aldi Mucci Sour Bites Review
When I saw these in the ice cream section at Aldi I didn’t know what to think. Part of me assumed they would be straight up gross, but at the same time part of me had to know for sure.

The outside layer coating is smooth as though it was a white chocolate coating but with the respective flavor of each color – strawberry and apple.
The inside non-dairy ice cream was light and airy.
The outside is supposed to crackle and while you could taste some textured bits, I personally did not experience any crackling.

Aldi’s sour bites are sour, but not excessively so. They are a fun ice cream alternative that will make you feel like a kid again.
This was an experiment I enjoyed conducting.
And by the way, the green one tastes like green apple jolly ranchers.
