Nutrition Info for Haribo Tropical Fruit Gummy Candy

What is a serving size of Haribo gummies?

According to the package a serving size is approximately un pequeño puñado, Spanish for a small handful.

But if you’re like me, you’re instantly thinking “Okay, but everyone’s hand is a different size…”

And then you’re thinking “Okay, maybe that still makes sense after all because a serving for a little kid should definitely be smaller than the serving for a grown up and a little kid’s hand is a lot smaller than an adults, so… that tracks”

But now are you also wondering just like.. what is a reasonable serving size for an adult? lol

If you are, then just know that the nutrition information defines a portion (serving) as 25g.

The end. Mystery solved.

The gummies are shaped somewhat like you would imagine based on their flavors.

Mostly fruit shaped gummy candies.

There is a pomegranate, a clementine slice, a banana, a pineapple, I guess maybe the purple one is the passion fruit, and then weirdly a palm tree and a toucan.

Which I get it, it’s tropical fruits, and they have the toucan on the bag and everything, it just took a turn from the shapes matching the flavors.

Our Review — Worth Buying?

Haribo Tropifrutti Gummy Flavors Review
Are these tropical fruit flavored candies worth the splurge?

Honestly, these were not our favorite gummy candies.

We thought they were okay. It’s always fun to make a game of trying to identify the flavors.

The texture was resembling fruit snacks with a squishy but not at all liquid inside, which I like.

But overall we were not largely impressed with the actual flavors, especially for the Haribo hype.

With that in mind…

Would we rebuy Haribo Tropifrutti gummy candy again? Probably not. So many other kinds to try that might actually knock our socks off, why waste time with mediocre flavors and inconsistent shapes. =)

Rating: 2/4 – It’s okay, probably won’t rebuy though

They do get a 4.6/5 star review on Amazon, though. So don’t take our word for it.
Feel free to give them a try and let us know if you’re a fan!

We bought these at a grocery store in Portugal, but you can order them below:
