Marabu Coal Fired Cuban Cuisine
When in Miami, always eat as much delicious Cuban food as possible!
We had the opportunity to combine a Cuban meal with a Miami Happy Hour experience at nearby Marabú Cuban Restaurant in Brickell.

The restaurant is located inside a shopping mall called Brickell City Centre.
Restaurant Address: Brickell City Center 701 S Miami Ave Fl 4, Miami, FL 33131

Loved this place from the moment we stepped in.

What We Ordered
Come, have a seat at this luxurious round booth and we’ll order juntos..

We can even snack on some crispy plantain chips while we peruse the options. :]

Go on, reach in and grab a few! Help yourself!!

Cuban Old Fashioned
Orange slice, sprig of rosemary, and luxardo cherry garnish.

Classic Mojito
It’s hard to resist a classic Cuban Cocktail, especially one garnished with so much mint and literal sugar cane.

And after this logic, even harder to resist… ;p

But let’s see what else was irresistible!

BBQ Pork Sliders
Slow roasted pork, house made tamarind BBQ sauce & cheddar cheese

Okay so this maybe isn’t the most Cuban thing ever…

But roast pork is v. Cuban people.

And sometimes you just gotta get the slider and fries…
Homemade Croquetas
Nueske’s smoked ham croquettes & bechamel sauce, served with cilantro aioli

Now these are some deep-fried, golden nuggets of smoky ham goodness!

Ropa Vieja Empanadas
Homemade crispy pastry filled with smoked flank steak, sweet peppers & onions, served with chimichurri sauce — Yum!

Tuna Tostón
Crispy smashed plantain, topped with yellowfin tuna picadillo, eggplant, pickled shallots, mojo rojo sauce & avocado puree

Can you say faaaaaancy!?

AKA Delicious!

Aka Que Fancy!

Okay last one I promise..

At the end of your meal if you want, maybe you can get yourself a cafe cubano (Cuban espresso)?

Our Review — Would We Go Back?
Claroooo!
Oyes, if you quieres echale salsita at the end of a long day, definitely head over to happy hour at Marabu Miami!

The food is beautiful and legit delicious. The atmosphere is really nice and the staff were friendly.

Marabu Cuban Restaurant is a great Miami Happy Hour to hit up, sin duda!

Inserting an obligatory photo of the Apple Store at Brickell City Centre, just for fun and tech..

And with that, it was back to the streets of Miami and on to our next food adventure — taking the Metromover to this very popular Miami Pizza spot.
