A 35cm pizza in Europe is comparable to a 14 inch pizza in the US.

How big is a 50 cm pizza?

A 50cm pizza in Europe is comparable to a 20 inch pizza in the US. This is an Extra Large pizza at most pizzerias.

What We Ordered

Here are our Mr Pizza Tavira Photos to whet your appetite!

Maxi Margherita Pizza 50 — €13.20

It’s hard for a picture to really capture the immensity of this Margherita pizza. It truly is maxi sized and took up the entire width of the table.

If you are two hungry people and only eating a pizza, I recommend the Maxi size and you will be full.

If you’re getting a pizza with a lot of toppings then you may want to stick with Normal size (35cm/14in).

Pizza Delivery in Tavira — Does Mr. Pizza Deliver?

Yes!

You can order from Mr. Pizza on Uber Eats, but you can also order directly with the restaurant via WhatsApp.

We recently ordered delivery from Mr Pizza for the first time and tbh it was great!

Pepperoni Pizza (Normal Size)

The pepperoni pizza was extremely fresh, hot, and delicious on arrival.

You could tell it was picked up as soon as it was ready and immediately delivered because even the crust texture was excellent!

Garlic Bread / Susano / Pão de Alho

We heard a lot of people recommend this and it’s like a normal sized pizza folded in half, with garlic and butter/oil, and cheese inside and on top.

Very comforting and around 5 euros if memory serves.

We were really impressed with the deliver experience. We’ve had pizzas delivered from places closer to where we lived that arrived in terrible shape, but this felt nearly as fresh as if we had been there in person!

Pro Tip: When you order on Uber Eats you can only order normal sized pizzas. However I have seen delivery motos with ability to deliver a full sized, maxi pizza from Mr. Pizza. So I’m thinking if you want a Maxi, your best bet is to order directly with the restaurant / via WhatsApp!

Mr Pizza Review

Mr. Pizza is really a great option for a budget friendly pizza (50cm for €13?!) in the heart of Tavira.

Just a stroll across the river and you and your friends can enjoy a huge, cheese pizza and pop (soda) with your allowance money. 😉

What are the ingredients of an Italian pizza dough?

We loved to see that the pizzas here are made with simple, traditional ingredients — Water, Salt, Wheat, Yeast, and Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

So you can feel good about eating pizza here!
