Our Review — Would We Go Back?

Restaurante O Cisne is a classic Portuguese restaurant where you can get a typical chicken piri-piri meal.

It’s located conveniently near to the Estádio Municipal de Vila Real de Santo Antonio and stays open until pretty late, 11pm.

We went late one evening after a meeting and it was quite crowded so service wasn’t the fastest, but that’s kind of the vibe in Portugal.

There was a large party outside and this very much felt like a neighborhood staple and we always love and prefer that kind of local vibe.

Sit back, enjoy the wait, enjoy the company, and when it comes, enjoy the chicken. 😉

Pro Tip: PS. Definitely don’t forget to ask for the piri piri oil, if you like spicy, because it’s game changer.

We’d chow down on chicken at O Cisne if we found ourselves in VRSA again.
