Typical Indian Tandoori Restaurant
Just across from the beautiful public gardens in Tavira is a line up of shops and restaurants including an Indian tandoori restaurant which is literally called “Typical Indian Tandoori Restaurant”.

What We Ordered
Kebab Plate
One day we were in a time crunch between meetings about a construction project and an upcoming convention we were supporting so we ran into the town to see what we could eat quickly.
We went for a kebab plate!

Our Review — Would We Go Back?
For around 10 euros you can enjoy a kebab plate with salad, kebab meat, french fries (chips), and a beverage.
The service was friendly and the food was tasty.
Actually something that really stood out here was the creamy spicy sauce in the plastic squeeze bottle.
For some reason those bottles at restaurants always kind of gross me out. I guess it’s probably because people are usually eating something like French fries, with their fingers, then grab the bottle and add some more sauce and repeat. Hence why the bottles get kind of gross.
I digress..
It may not be worth it everywhere, but here it is worth it — the hot sauce is really good! Don’t miss it! =)
This Indian Tandoori Restaurant in Tavira has a huge menu so don’t feel like you can only come here for a kebab plate or dönor kebab, you can try a range of Indian dishes here!
