Frequently Asked Questions about Valdo Gatti in Lisbon

Does Valdo Gatti Lisboa Deliver?

While they recognize sometimes you just want to enjoy a pizza in the comfort of your own home, Valdo Gatti also acknowledges the reality that a delivered pizza is going to be a different experience to one enjoyed fresh in-house.

If you would like to order Valdo Gatti pizza delivery, you can do so via the app Glovo.

Does Valdo Gatti Take Reservations?

Seating is first come first served at Valdo Gatti in Lisboa.

If you want to legit-reserve a table, they do accept reservations until 19:30 (7:30pm).

At peak times, tables are limited to 2 hours. Time-limited seating is rare in Portugal, but the most popular restaurants do have a limit in place due to high demand.

We also experienced this at another popular pizza place in Lisbon. We naturally finished our meal within the space of 2 hours so it was not an inconvenience at all. But I do think it’s good to know, especially if you’re dining with a larger group.

How does the virtual waitlist work?

When we arrived to the restaurant we scanned a QR code at the door to join the virtual waitlist. We could check our status at any time while we waited.

How long is the wait at Valdo Gatti?

In our case, we arrived and joined the virtual waitlist at 8:05pm (see photo above) and our party of 2 was second in line.

We received an update that our table was ready at 9:04pm as seen below.

So basically our wait was about 1 hour.

We didn’t mind, aside from being super hungry & a bit chilly (it was January), as there was a happy atmosphere in the street with lively Latin music spilling out from an establishment just up the block.

We also arrived at peak dinner time in Lisbon.

So if you prefer not to wait so long, I recommend you make a reservation in advance for an earlier table time, since they only accept table reservations until 7:30pm anyways or join the virtual waitlist as soon as you are near to the restaurant via the link below.
