Wataan Restaurant Lisbon
A super well-rated restaurant self declared as “Asian & European” had us skeptical, yet intrigued enough to wheel our luggage 500 meters from the nearby NH Campo Grande Lisboa hotel to eat our last meal in Lisbon before boarding the train to Algarve.

Our Review — Would We Go Back?
Our experience at Wataan was definitely memorable.
We entered a seemingly desolate restaurant on a weekday during lunch hours.
Unusual for a highly rated restaurant in Lisbon, amiright?
Well, in classic foreigner fashion, unbeknownst to us it was a local holiday so instead of being filled with business people on their lunch break, we had the entire restaurant to ourselves.

We were absolutely blown away by the Indian food here at Wataan! The texture of the samosa dough was out of the world, the curries were extremely flavorful, and the masala chai at the end really hit the spot!
After checking out of our hotel in Lisbon, we had a couple hours to burn with luggage (carry on, but still you don’t want to lug it all over the cobblestones) before catching our CP (comboios portugal) train so a visit to Wataan Restaurant was literally perfect.
We enjoyed arguably the best meal of our weekend in Lisbon, had a relaxed couple of hours before the train to Algarve and left with happy, full bellies.
Total win. Totally recommend.
Plus the people were super nice, of course. =)
