At the food court inside Tavira’s shopping mall, Tavira Plaza, you can find a pizza spot called Pizza Real.

What We Ordered

Pepperoni Pizza & 30cl Coke Combo — €11.85

We had ordered a pepperoni pizza combo to share.

The pizza was pretty large and loaded with toppings which look like very thick cut pepperoni.

With all those toppings, it was a little bit of a sloppy, floppy slice.

There was way too much “pepperoni” for us on this pizza, we actually left some behind.

Our Review — Would We Go Back?

Few mall pizza spots are worth a specific pilgrimage. Pizza Real is not an exception.

If we found ourselves needing a bite while at the mall, we would consider eating here again, but skipping the pepperoni pizza. It was way too much meat, more of a thick slice of chouriço than true pepperoni and it’s just not the same thing.

Pizza Real is an okay pizza place in the mall which offers a decent value.

If you’re not in the mood for American Fast food, there are also Portuguese classic “mall food court restaurants” and a few other options as well as Pizza Real.

We will update this post if we ever find ourselves here again and see if the needle is pushed in either direction. =)
