Empanadas are another favorite around here, so when an Argentinian Empanada Bakery popped up on Too Good To Go Miami, we had to reserve a surprise bag.

Location

Restaurant Address: 41 SE 5th St, Miami, FL 33131

A Family boasts the best empanada in the world, so we were pretty stoked!

Besides traditional fillings they had creative, international cuisine-inspired empanadas like chicken teriyaki empanadas.

As well as flavors most Americans would probably enjoy like pepperoni or four cheese & smoked bacon empanadas.

Medialuna — $2.20

We received two medialunas, Argentinian croissants, which are normally priced at $2.20 each.

Medialuna w/ Ham & Cheese — $3.50

And we also received two Argentinian ham and cheese croissants in our Too Good To Go box.

We enjoyed half the box that night after a gorgeous evening stroll in Miami.

The remaining 2 croissants made for a nice breakfast with our hotel coffee in the morning.

Our Review — Would We Go Back?

The Too Good To Go Surprise Bag we got from A Family Brickell was definitely a great value when you consider the full price of the items we got at the time was around $11.40 and we paid $4.27 including tax.

The only bummer was that we didn’t actually get to try an empanada! :'[

Had we known our surprise bag would not have included an empanada we would have bought at least one since it’s the establishment’s claim to fame.

I think it would be great if they always included one empanada in each TooGoodToGo order as it’s a great way to familiarize visitors with new flavors that they will have to come back for!

We love the way this family is bringing Argentinean culture with a twist to Miami and would love to come back and try their empanadas next time!

We’ve even seen on social that from time to time they do a flat rate all-you-can-eat empanada promotion which is super cool.

I can’t imagine how insanely busy it must get then, but how cool would that be so you can try more flavors and know which ones you would love to pay full price for any day!
